In

September the Rainbow Unit1st Gamlingay Rainbow unit opened. We have seven girls helped along by Georgia, Sunflower, Primrose and Buttercup. The girls all made their promise at an enrolment ceremony (pictured above) at the end of term and received badges and certificates

The young leaders Sunflower and Georgia have been busy teaching the Rainbows new songs and games around the theme of Love, Laugh, Look and Learn. The girls are busy working towards their 1st Roundabout Rainbow badge. The unit has a mascot called Olivia named after Lady Baden Powell, founder of the Girl Guide Movement. There is a new uniform and a book bag, which is useful for collecting Rainbow materials and transporting them home.

The Rainbow unit is very grateful for the support received from our Parish Council and Village Show Committee.
